Keldon Johnson, a San Antonio Spurs basketball player, visited the 433rd Airlift Wing here, March 2, to meet with Citizen Reserve Airmen and learn about the capabilities and missions of the C-5M aircraft Super Galaxy.

During his tour, Johnson received and wore an Air Force aircrew flight jacket, met with 433rd AW Commander Col. Terry McClain, and flew a C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft simulator .

Colonel James Miller, commander of the 433rd Operations Group, guided Johnson’s experience in the flight simulator.

“We loved having Keldon Johnson come to visit us,” Miller said. “It boosted the airmen’s morale and also gave us the opportunity to showcase the C-5M Super Galaxy aircraft. Promoting our mission to the local community is always a pleasure, because we are always ready.

Next, Johnson took to the flight line to tour a C-5M aircraft and sign autographs for the Citizen Reserve Airmen and their families.

“We appreciated that Keldon took the time out of his busy schedule to visit our incredible team,” Miller said. “Based on his experience with the Alamo Wing team, I know he will be a great champion for the Alamo Wing on and off the field.”
